Paper Artist

Designer Bruno Carl Winter from the Bavarian city of Bayreuth has invented a novel toy that functions like Lego bricks - only the pieces are made from paper. But unlike Japanese origami, Winter's creation "pepastar" doesn't shun the use of scissors, glue and drawing. Pepastar has been nominated for major design awards and Winter says his soft spot for paper might be because he's half Japanese.
